Ms. Bañez concentrates on providing bankruptcy consulting, litigation support and forensic investigation services. She has provided services to debtors, creditors, receivers, assignees, examiners and bankruptcy and liquidating trustees. She has provided litigation support services to law firms involving solvency analysis, investigation of Ponzi schemes and corporate business conduct. Several of her investigative cases have also involved working in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Securities and Exchange Commission and the United States Attorney's Office.

Her experience in bankruptcy matters encompasses asset tracing and recoveries including investigation of fraudulent and preferential transfers and related defense and solvency analyses. She has assisted clients in bankruptcy-related financial reporting, claims administration, and litigation support in adversary proceedings. Her experience is in a wide range of industries including investment funds, healthcare, telecommunications, real estate, hotel and hospitality, and insurance.
