Soneet Kapila was appointed Receiver of the assets of this peat moss mining entity located in Highlands County, Florida. He is overseeing operations of the peat mining facility while marketing to sell the assets for the benefit of creditors. The case involves complex land use and mining permits.
THE SKULL CREEK CLUB LIMITED PARTNERSHIP
Kapila & Company was appointed Receiver of The Property consisting of a marina facility located on Hilton Head Island, S.C., to oversee and manage its operations.
RADICE CORPORATE CENTER II MORTGAGED PROPERTY
Soneet Kapila was appointed Receiver of the Radice Corporation Center II Mortgaged Property and Radice Land Mortgaged Property. He is overseeing operations of this seven story Class A suburban office property consisting of approximately 129,000 sf. Located at 800 Corporate Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
CENTREX PREMIUM FINANCE CORPORATION, ESTRELLA GROUP HOLDINGS, INC., AND NICHOLAS ESTRELLA
Soneet Kapila was named Receiver of Centrex Premium Finance Corporation with principal duties including protecting the interests of Wachovia Bank, the secured creditor. Upon the issuance of two Receiver's Reports, Nicholas Estrella returned in excess of $7.2 million to the company which represented funds disbursed to him by Centrex pursuant to the Premium Collection Agreement, allowing Centrex to remain solvent and in regulatory compliance with the Office of Insurance Regulation and repay loans to its creditors.
MEDICAL SUPPLY HOLDINGS, LLC..
Soneet Kapila was named Assignee of this wholesaler of medical equipment and supplies and accessories. K&C will perform tax and forensic consulting services. The Company’s assets were liquidated for the benefit of creditors.
NATIONAL FISHERIES, INC.
Soneet R. Kapila was appointed the Assignee for the benefit of creditors.
He took immediate charge of the operations to liquidate all perishable
inventories and conducted an expeditious liquidation of assets to preserve
the value for the benefit of creditors, providing a substantial return
to the secured lender who had a lien on all assets.

Soneet R. Kapila was appointed the Receiver in these three multi-unit real estate "condo converison" projects.
MED/WASTE, INC.
Soneet R. Kapila was appointed the State Court Receiver of this multi-state,
medical waste management company. The corporation operated in several
states having its distressed times due to cash constraints. He took charge
of all of the operations and conducted an orderly liquidation of assets
and accounts receivable providing a meaningful return to a major banking
institution. His duties also encompassed dealing with environmental regulatory
authorities to provide safeguards to minimize negative impact of hazardous
waste.
