Kapila & Company was retained by this major corporation as litigation and financial consultants to assist as financial experts and investigate the activities of two partnership entities to whom Met Life had loaned significant monies.

Kapila & Company was retained to compute and quantify loss of profits damages resulting from a breach of contracts, patent and copyrights and violation of territorial jurisdictions by competitors. Our analysis and expert testimony resulted in an award of $12.5 million in favor of our client.

CAULKINS INDIANTOWN CITRUS CO.

Kapila & Company was retained by a major law firm and group of citrus growers to analyze, compute and quantify damages sustained by the growers as a result of abusive calculations under fruit participation contracts.

Kapila & Company was retained by the bankruptcy trustee of First American Railways as an expert to value the business of the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and to compute damages that the bankruptcy estate incurred as a result of the sale of the railroad at less than market value.
