Soneet R. Kapila was the Court appointed Examiner of this international
creator and worldwide developer of distinctive movie and entertainment-based
theme restaurants and retail merchandise stores throughout the United
States and Europe. He was selected as the Examiner upon the urging
of the Committee of Unsecured Creditors to provide a means to investigate
and report on the actions of the Board of Directors, transactions and
business dealings of the Debtors with insiders and other related parties,
the Debtors’ franchise and license network and possible claims
and causes of action against the Board of Directors, insiders and other
related parties. Following an extensive investigation, Kapila filed
a three volume report for consideration by the Committee, the Debtors
and
the Court.

AMERICAN HOSPITAL CORPORATION
Soneet R. Kapila was the Court appointed Examiner to investigate the viability of this 146 bed acute care community hospital, as well as corporate governance and the ability of management to operate this hospital as a Debtor-in-Possession. The scope of his duties included overseeing the sale of the Hospital as a Transaction Examiner. His recommendations resulted in a reconstitution of the Board of Directors, the appointment of an Interim Chief Operating Officer and a close monitoring of cash flow budgets and operations. His efforts resulted in the sale of the Hospital for $40 million and he was appointed a post-confirmation Plan Administrator.
GUNNALLEN FINANCIAL, INC.
Soneet R. Kapila was the court appointed Chapter 11 Examiner of this broker-dealer alleged to have committed numerous violations of federal securities laws and regulations and which was closed down by The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”). His scope included investigating the Debtors pre-petition transactions leading to a shut-down of the business. Following confirmation of the Plan of Reorganization, Soneet Kapila was appointed the Liquidation Agent.
PSN USA, INC. LIQUIDATING TRUST
Soneet R. Kapila was appointed Examiner over six years after the Plan of Reorganization was confirmed. As a result of concerns expressed by a major creditor, the Court deemed it appropriate to appoint an independent fiduciary to examine the operational conduct of the liquidating trust for compliance with the provisions of the Plan.
AMERICAN AMMUNITION
Soneet Kapila was appointed Chapter 11 Examiner of American Ammunition, Inc., F&F Equipment, Inc., and Industrial Plating Enterprises Co. AA manufactured small arms ammunition for commercial, law enforcement and military use. The company is also a contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Soneet R. Soneet R. Kapila was the Court appointed Examiner
to investigate a proposed sale transaction of an asset and evaluate
the adequacy of the Debtors' marketing effort, and whether the transaction
was in the best interest of the creditors. The Debtors were in the
business of producing heavy machinery for the manufacture of concrete
masonry products, including molds for use in such machinery.

ENTERPRISES, INC. a/k/a AMERIPLAST
Soneet R. Kapila was the Court appointed Examiner
in this plastic card manufacturer in the Middle District of Florida (Orlando).
His duties
involved in-depth investigation of pre-petition and post-petition conduct
of the Debtor and its management to provide the Court and creditors an objective
understanding of a myriad of inter-corporate dealings conducted by
this
Debtor and its constantly changing management.

Soneet R. Kapila was the Court appointed
Examiner of this residential home developer involving a controlled
community of approximately 80 homes.
He investigated the conduct of the Debtor’s management and conducted
a viability study to evaluate whether the Debtor had the ability to

Soneet R. Kapila was the Court Appointed
Examiner of this significant wireless communication business which sought
relief under Chapter 11
proceedings in the Southern District of Florida. He investigated the
conduct of the Debtor's management as well as its business practices.
He mediated to bring consensus between the Debtor's management and the
dominant unsecured creditor, thus facilitating the filing of a consensual
Plan of Reorganization for the benefit of creditors.
KRYPTON BROADCASTING
CORPORATION
Soneet R. Kapila was the Court appointed Examiner
of two separate Debtors with respective independent television stations in Florida
and Alabama.
His duties included investigating the business affairs and the ability
of these television stations to reorganize their business and reporting
his findings to the Court which were contested by various competing interests.

Soneet R. Kapila was the Court appointed Examiner
of this multi-location group home, not-for-profit entity providing care
for developmentally
disabled clients. He investigated the conduct of the Debtor's management
and its business practices. All creditors, including multi-million
dollar bond holders, used his report.

Court appointed Examiner of this major real estate developer/builder
and general contractor. His
duties included negotiating with creditors relative to the Plan of Reorganization,
investigating the business operations of the Debtor and advising the

were instrumental in providing a 100% return to creditors.

buyers and investigated allegations of preferences and fraudulent conveyances.
Due to his efforts, several secured and unsecured creditors received
